Playtech’s dynamic Legal Team is seeking a highly competent Legal Counsel to strengthen our solid legal department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong legal background, a strategic approach, and a dedication to excellence, prepared to tackle the intricate legal challenges of our business.

Job Description

Your Influential Mission: You Will…

• Provide Legal Expertise on Cross-Border Transactions: Offer comprehensive legal advice and support on a variety of multi-jurisdictional corporate transactions, including:
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (both public and private M&A)
  • Equity Financing and Investments
  • Debt Financing and Investments
  • Joint Ventures
  • Corporate Restructurings
• Consult on General Corporate Law: Advise on a broad spectrum of corporate law issues, including matters related to the company’s esteemed position on the London Stock Exchange.
• Negotiate and Review Legal Documents: Engage in the negotiation and review of agreements and documents pertinent to the transactions above, collaborating with external counsel when necessary.
• Lead and Manage Projects: Take charge of and steer select transactions to successful completion.
• Address Complex Legal Challenges: Tackle intricate and unique legal issues involving numerous stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Leadership: Report directly to the General Counsel and Senior Legal Counsel (UK), contributing to strategic legal decisions.
• Work Cross-Functionally: Cooperate closely with various teams and departments to fulfil the company’s strategic goals.
• Build and Maintain Relationships: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress.

Qualifications

• Possess expertise in corporate law, honed over at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Have a proven track record in a reputable law firm or company.
