Arrow Electronics (www.arrow.com) has an excellent opportunity for a Legal Counsel Director in our Denver Headquarters. The preferred work arrangement for this role is a hybrid 3 days in any Arrow physical location. Fully remote arrangements will also be considered for exceptional candidates not within driving distance to an Arrow office.
This position provides timely transactional expertise to support the organization by delivering creative and novel solutionsto support the Company's contractual goals in afast-paced, performance-driven, customer-focused, collaborative environment. The successful candidate is a positive, pragmatic individual with strong negotiation and communication skills; a person with a strategic view on problem identification and solutions; a person with high ethical standards and strong business acumen, who thrives in a fast-paced growth and results oriented environment. The role requires an accomplished individual who has a proven record of negotiating complex deals, is comfortable being out of the "comfort zone," and who enjoys having a seat at the table to help the business make the right decisions, enabling revenue growth and the company's strategic goals.
Reporting to our VP, Legal Affairs this position will be responsible for:

• Participating in the deal process from start to finish to ensure that Arrow's best interests are represented, and that contracts maintain an appropriate balance between reasonable risk and growth goals.
• Analyzing and effectively negotiating contract terms with Fortune 500 companies that support our business objectives, while complying with applicable laws and Arrow policies.
• Independently reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, amendments, and templates in support of the business including supplier, customer, reseller, fee-for-service, credit, and other commercial agreements.
• Developing creative legal solutions to complex commercial negotiations and issues.
• Providing clear, concise, and practical legal and commercial advice and counsel to business teams on a wide array of business and contractual issues while coordinating with other legal team members and other functional areas (e.g., Finance, Operations) as necessary to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Partnering with the business to successfully drive initiatives and providing overall support for execution of commercial strategy.
• Managing and mentoring a team of attorneys.
• Establishing productive working relationships with and earning the trust of senior business leaders.
• Coordinating with other legal team members and company stakeholders to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• Partnering with Legal Operations to draft templates and policies and to establish processes.
• Conducting training for business and field locations on best practices and other contract or legal topics.
• Conducting training sessions for internal team members on procedures and other contract or legal topics, as necessary.
• Handling other matters as assigned and appropriate.

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum fifteen (15) years of relevant transactional experience in a top-tier law firm or corporate law department.
• Broad transactional background and extensive experience in commercial and corporate law.
• Experience in electronics/technology distribution/resale preferred.
• Prior experience supervising a team of legal professionals.
• Proven ability to drive business forward and achieve results, while managing risk and protecting the company.
• Demonstrated eagerness and ability to learn industry, business, and operational matters quickly.
• Able to effectively manage tight timelines and balance competing priorities.
• Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
• Team player with highly developed interpersonal skills.
• A highly effective, practical lawyer with a record of value creation.
• Acute attention to detail and ability to multi-task in an evolving corporate culture.
• JD from a top-tier accredited law school and license to practice law in CO or any US jurisdiction.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
$150,900.00 - $302,500.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
