Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

Vivid Money is an innovative and international FinTech that offers retail and business customers a unique mobile app to manage all their personal finances in a more easy and flexible way. We let our customers in Europe access banking, investments, credits, crypto and many other (financial) services in one application: the Vivid Money App.

In the role of Legal Counsel, you will mainly focus on corporate law matters of the entire Vivid Money Group. You will provide hands-on legal advice to our product teams and (senior) management on all (legal) issues relevant for further growth of our innovative digital services platform in Europe.

This position can be based in Amsterdam, Luxembourg or in Berlin.

What you will do:

• As part of our international legal department, you advise our business and product teams on corporate law, investment law and financial regulatory matters
• Depending on complexity, you are responsible for independently advising on contractual and legal questions, helping draft internal processes and agreements and negotiating agreements for the company (within an international context)
• You provide considered and practical advice to the business on legal / organisational questions, including financial regulatory and corporate law, and you help our projects to be successful from a legal perspective
• You support with reviewing and advising on regulatory matters relating to e.g. investments, banking, payments, crypto and other financial regulations
• Communicate and liaise with external parties, such as external counsel, our regulators (such as the AFM, DNB and/or CSSF), our shareholders and partners

Requirements:

• Dutch or German university degree in law (with outstanding credentials)
• At least three years working experience as a lawyer in an international law firm
• Experience with EU financial regulation (MiFIDII, PSD2, etc.) is an advantage
• Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects
• Hands-on and Can-Do mentality
• Strong work ethics
• Fluent in English and at least one other European language
