THE ROLE: Legal Director, Technology Capital

Job Summary:

Presidio Technology Capital ("PTC") provides leasing and lending solutions to help Presidio clients acquire and consume technology solutions. This position is part of the Presidio Technology Capital Management Team and will work closely with internal PTC staff, customers, and lending partners to drive solution sales and financing.

The Technology Capital Legal Director is responsible for facilitating equipment leasing and commercial finance transactions while protecting Presidio and our lending partners from financial risk. The position will be focused on commercial transactions - negotiating and revising lending and leasing agreements with customers and our funding partners. The position includes direct management of one paralegal.

Travel Requirements:

This position does not require any travelThis is a remote position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review, negotiate and revise PTC financing agreements. on a daily basis
• Review, negotiate and revise financing agreements with our securitization funding partners
• Work to develop new products and services, and new funding sources and avenues, as part of the Technology Capital Management Team
• Act as lead in managing the workflow for all transactions where changes to standard documentation are required
• Work with PTC management and staff to optimize documentation processes
• Act as PTC Subject matter expert in state and local regulations that PTC must comply with
• Negotiate agreements that comply with company policies and risk tolerance.
• This position involves a significant amount of multi-tasking.
• The individual must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• The successful candidate will be able to prioritize effectively, interact well with internal clients, customers, staff and vendors.

Required Skills:

• Ability to multitask, organize, plan, and prioritize workload; with strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and revise clear, concise commercial agreements.
• Excellent client-service skills and attitude toward internal and external customers.
• Ability to accurately spot issues and formulate solutions with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate legal subject matter to people who do not have in depth familiarity with legal concepts.

Additional Desired Skills:

• Admission to the bar.
• Cable or telecommunications industry experience

Education and Experience:

• Law Degree from an Accredited Law School.
• 10+ years relevant experience, including experience negotiating leasing and secured lending contracts.
