Legal Intern

The Team:
Celonis' Legal Team handles a wide range of legal issues affecting the Company, among them being employment, policy, commercial, litigation, M&A, and privacy and regulatory matters.
The Role:
You will support the Legal team with project-based duties from any area of the legal department and are not necessarily limited in scope to the specialization of their Manager / Mentor. Interns will work closely with the relevant Project Owner to understand the business and legal requirements of the Project, and to validate deliverables through the course of the Project.
The work you'll do:

• Substantive legal research
• Comparative benchmarking of legal risk positions within the industry
• Analysis of Celonis' commercial contract portfolio to identify current risk patterns
• Operational implementation of specific initiatives in response to changes in legal or business requirements
• Provide written and/or oral presentations to senior management, as well as other legal staff
• Work cross functionally with Celonis executives providing insight into the overall business as well as a 360 degree view of the legal function

The qualifications you need:

• Students must be in the class of rising 2Ls or 3Ls attending a participating law school
• A minimum 3.0 GPA
• Superb research, writing, and analytical skills
• Interest in SEC/M&A and technology preferred

Compensation information:
For this offering New York City, you'll be paid by the hour, the salary range is $23 - $35 per hour. Please note that this range is a guideline, and that the actual totally hourly rate will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, degree level, experiences, and location. Plus, we'll adhere to city and state's employment laws regarding overtime and time-off if applicable.
