INTERNSHIP PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Millennium Trust Company Internship Program is a 10-week summer program that provides FIRST-RATE, HANDS-ON experience and opportunities to work on challenging projects you can add to your resume! At Millennium, you will not only develop new skills, but will experience the fullness of Millennium Trust Company and our culture through mentors, in-house professional development, group activities and challenges. At the conclusion of the internship, all interns will participate in a company-wide team competition. This internship will provide a fantastic springboard for your future career! We offer a hybrid internship experience with students working a combined virtual and in-person schedule at our Oak Brook, Illinois office location.
HOW YOU WILL SOAR
As a Legal Intern, you are primarily responsible for working alongside attorneys on projects and strategic initiatives, conducting legal research on varying topics, and reviewing client contracts and document language. The position is a member of the Legal Team at Millennium Trust Company. The Legal Intern will have a direct window into the role of a senior in-house counsel at a growing business while gaining hands on experience through achievable projects that add value to the team. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, motivated, and detail oriented.

• Partners with attorneys and business leaders helping them to achieve their objectives in compliance with the law and ethical business standards.
• Assist Legal and compliance associates with vendor projects and assignments, as assigned.
• Successfully researches and gathers relevant information from various internal and external resources.
• Develops a thorough understanding of, and familiarity with the business, its people, markets, facilities, clients, and competitors, to identify trends and formulate appropriate structures and strategies.
• Other duties as required.

INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to start June 5, 2023 (internship goes through August 11, 2023)
• Must be a current law student, with at least one year of law school completed.
• Ability to commit to hybrid work environment (office is based in Oak Brook, IL)
• Pursuing a degree in Law
