Legal Intern (m/f/d)

The vision of NEWM is to create a community-owned platform that directly connects artists with their supporters; removing the middlemen and replacing them with code that’s not incentivized to make a profit. To achieve this goal, we are developing a multi-level platform powered by several decentralized services for artists to publish, distribute, directly promote, fund and launch their music.

We're an early startup with a committed and motivated team of currently 60 international people that cover different areas such as marketing, finances, technology and design. We are a remote-first company.

We are not a fully funded company yet which means that many people still work for us on the side and get compensated in NEWM Tokens.

We are looking for a part-time (10 hours per week) legal intern starting from June 2024 to help us with:

• Assist in drafting contracts and documents
• Assist legal team
• Legal research regarding Crypto, Blockchain and Music IP rights

• Law student
• Interest in Crypto and Blockchain or Music IP rights
• Fluent in English
• Problem-solving oriented thinking
• Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently
