The Community You Will Join

The Legal Investigations team provides dedicated investigation support for the legal team. Legal Investigations team members provide operational subject matter expertise across a variety of Community Support and Trust related topics; they support fact investigations and serve as witnesses in litigated matters. 

The Difference You Will Make

The Legal Investigations manager supervises the team as well as operational aspects of the Legal Investigations Team. The manager will also assist with the execution and coordination of investigations and projects. The primary function of this role is to help drive team efficiency and productivity and be a thought leader in helping to remove blockers to success. This role works closely with the team and a lead paralegal to drive and execute on  operational projects as well as manage case work. This role will also work with our regional and global legal teams.

As a Legal Investigations manager you are expected to uphold the professionalism and confidentiality of the department at the highest level. You will engage with senior stakeholders for the resolution of problems and support legal stakeholders with knowledge and expertise on a wide range of topics. 

A Typical Day
  • Manage individual team members. 
  • Provide general team support.
  • Coordinate regional support as needed and promote collaboration and alignment across regional work.
  • Drive team initiatives, including operational improvements.
  • Actively develop and strengthen collaborative stakeholder relationships. 
  • Participate as a witness in declarations, depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Manage complex, sensitive, and/or urgent investigations and research for legal matters and provide information and findings to various stakeholders.
Your Expertise

Requirements
  • Minimum  5-8 years experience working in a legal, policy or regulatory field preferred.
  • Availability to work 40 hours a week. 
  • Strong analytical skills and operational expertise.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare concise and accurate reports.
  • Familiarity with the operation of our platform. 
  • Strong attention to detail - ability to identify and flag potential issues to your manager.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
