About this Role

Reporting to the Legal Chief of Staff, this role will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment supporting various legal initiatives, as well as implementing new controls and processes, while interfacing with other departments on behalf of Legal in connection with various projects.
Responsibilities

• Drafting non-negotiated lending, borrow, NDAs and other agreements
• Assist with audits and tracking outcomes
• Collate materials in response to subpoenas
• Drive and ensure cross-functional alignment with all internal stakeholders (Business Development/ Sales, Product/ Engineering, Business Development/Sales, Compliance).
• Assist in implementing various tools to help with storage of agreements, data and drafting agreements
• Review Lending Term Sheets to ensure they are accurate
• Establish reports and metrics to track work and progress throughout the Legal department

Professional qualifications and Skills

• Understanding of basic contracts and recording related data
• Excellent writing and proof-reading skills
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience in technology and operations a plus
• Substantial experience documentation or legal type role within the financial space
