Legal Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our legal team as a Legal Specialist. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for providing support on day-to-day legal matters such as contract review and corporate governance. You will work closely with various internal teams, including operations, HR, finance, and senior executives.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze a wide range of legal contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Identify and highlight key provisions, risks, and potential legal issues.
• Provide recommendations and suggestions for contract improvements or modifications.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to negotiate contract terms and resolve legal issues.
• Support the preparation of board meeting materials, resolutions, and minutes.
• Conduct research and analysis on corporate governance matters and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Assist with the maintenance of corporate records and documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• A Juris Doctor (J.D.), Master of Laws (LL.M.), or equivalent degree from a reputable law school.
• Admission to the bar of a U.S. state.
• Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in contract review, corporate governance, or a related legal field.
• Detail-oriented and meticulous in reviewing legal documents and ensuring accuracy.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts effectively and influence key stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, with a high level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
