The Opportunity

Adobe is looking for a legal specialist (paralegal) to join our Corporate Legal team in our Legal, Security, and Policy Group. In this role, your ideas and contributions will affect Adobe's strategy and growth as you will serve as one of our lead legal specialists responsible for managing our subsidiaries to ensure compliance with applicable laws.

We're looking for a self-starter with excellent judgment who is able to prioritize and manage multiple competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. You will be part of a team with at least one other legal specialist who also works on corporate subsidiary matters. What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary legal specialist for corporate subsidiary governance matters, including managing domestic and international subsidiaries to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
  • Primary responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring corporate records are accurate;
  • Drafting governance documents including POAs, written consents, and meeting minutes;
  • Providing accurate and timely responses to internal and external requests for information;
  • Coordinating signatures to ensure timely delivery of executed documents;
  • Updating corporate subsidiary database for changes in governance items; and
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders, including local counsel and others such as Treasury, Accounting and Tax to accomplish these responsibilities.
  • Work collaboratively across the organization, including with senior executives, to build consensus and drive projects to completion
  • Effectively work with, and at times manage, outside counsel on a global basis.
What you need to succeed

  • 8+ years of relevant legal experience.
  • Prior experience with international and domestic subsidiary governance matters.
  • Experience with Diligent Entities (Blueprint) preferred, but not required.
  • Active notary or willingness to become a notary.
  • Flexible, business-friendly, creative, meticulous and intellectually curious collaborator who can influence and enjoys new and exciting projects.
  • A sense of humor and enjoy working on a team and with people at all levels.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to providing clients with high quality and timely legal advice.
  • Eager to "own" your area of responsibility.
  • Willing to expand your scope, as necessary to broaden your abilities and assist other team members.
  • Flexibility to work with colleagues, clients, and others in time zones other than where the position is based.
  • Exercises common sense to provide both practical and theoretical advice; must be a creative problem solver with stellar business instincts.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $66,600 -- $138,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
