About the role & the team

We are looking for a highly motivated individual able to work in an agile team setting. We assemble and analyse business requirements to make innovative analytical ideas among various powerful analytical dataset platforms based on business value, with ability on distinguishing between user needs and user wants.

We process and interpret large data sets by drawing insights alongside the business. We define and deliver priorities and major work you're doing on analytical projects. We build analytical documentation including design requirements, clear and simple metrics to understand the acceptance and performance of the products (specifications).

We identify development areas of consolidating and improving analytics and business processes We are collaborating with IT and business partners.

About you

• Preference would be background in Life and Health reinsurance/insurance (experience/exposure to various Life and Health functions a plus)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectually share findings with various level of business partners
• Knowledge of programming language (i.e., R, Python, SQL, DAX, etc.) or data platforms (i.e., Power BI, Stargate, R, etc.)
• Ability to process and interpret data
• A solid grasp of data sources, data organization and storage (i.e., data warehouses/repositories)
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of being able to deliver analytics to various levels/areas of business
• Experience in project management and process improvements
• Strategic problem solver with a track-record of creative problem-solving as well as broad-mindedness and curiosity to learn and 'can do' demeanour
• Eager to develop and drive analytic initiatives
• MS Office skills required
• Degree in a field of mathematics, statistics, finance, or computer science a plus
• Highly motivated with an ability to appropriately handle own time and priorities in a multi-functional collaborative environment
