Project – the aim you’ll have

The client's platform is a cutting-edge solution for digital health and clinical trials. It specializes in decentralized trials, focusing on patient-centricity and diversity. The platform offers real-time data capture, telemedicine integration, and seamless connectivity with medical IoT devices. It ensures robust interoperability, global scalability, and regulatory compliance. By enhancing efficiency and inclusivity, client's platform is transforming clinical research, making trials more accessible and adaptive to global health challenges.

Position – how you’ll contribute

• As a Staff Engineer, you'll be a technical leader, architecting complex features, mentoring engineers, and collaborating closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to create high-quality architecture and scalable solutions. 
• Work in clinical research industry on the internal product used to accelerate clinical trials conducted by ICON across the world. 
• Provide technical expertise of the team of several engineers to develop new and maintain existing features. 
• Focus on application architecture to ensure we produce high quality software. 
• Create and develop backend applications in Microservices architecture 
• Cooperate with Quality Engineers to ensure reasonable level of automated end-2-end tests coverage. 
• Cooperate with software architects to ensure the alignment of proposed solutions on a system-level. 
• Push towards software quality by covering written code with unit and integration tests where applicable. 
• Promote culture of using reusable code, quality standards, and libraries for future use, promoting efficiency and consistency. 
• Utilize the latest tech stack within the .NET ecosystem, running natively on Azure. 
• Take care of application security, from design to implementation 
• Collaborate closely with product and design teams to translate product vision into reality. This includes planning, implementing, and launching core features that elevate our user experience

Qualifications

Expectations – the experience you need

• 10+ years of overall experience in software engineering. 
• 8+ years of experience in .NET backend and Microservices architecture. 
• 2+ years of experience in enterprise architecture design in Azure 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field. 
• Fluency in the C# language, .NET platform and variety of well-known libraries. 
• Hands-on experience with building Azure-hosted applications using native cloud solutions at enterprise scale. 
• Experience with setting-up observability standards. 
• You are self-directed, innovative, and biased towards action in fast-paced environments. You love to build new things and thrive in ambiguity and even failure.
• Experience in technical leading group of developers, being responsible for outcome delivery. 
• Solid knowledge of testing principles to grow tight development feedback loop. 
• Experience in mentoring and coaching engineers and provide technical feedback to their ideas. 
• Speak English proficiently
• Ability to work in client's office in Warsaw at least 2 days per week (with possibility of reducing it after few months).
