Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Reporting to the Director of Social Services, this position isresponsible for providing high quality patient care, displaying good skills inassessment, discharge planning and community coordination, psychiatricdiagnosis, treatment planning, group treatment, individual treatment, familytreatment, and discharge planning with adult patients. The Social Workeris expected to function well as a member of the multiple disciplinary team andparticipate in the unit community relations program.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:

1. Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited school of Social Work required.
2. Two years post masters experience working with psychiatric patients preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:

1. Current Californialicensure as LCSW required.

2. Current CPR Certificationrequired.

3. MAB certificate within 3months of hire or transfer.

4. 5150 certificationspreferred within 1 year of hire.
