Summary:

The Licensed Psychologist will work with patients ages 0 - 18 and their families to provide outpatient psychotherapy and psychological services at our Gastroenterology Clinic. The Licensed Psychologist will possess knowledge and understanding of normal pediatric/adolescent growth and brain development as well as experience with pediatric/adolescent mental health diagnoses and a variety of treatment milieu and psychological tests. Experience with ADHD, developmental delays, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorders, complex psychiatric and neuropsychiatric conditions, and trauma-informed care is preferred. Understanding the ecological, biological, genetic, and developmental factors that promote health across the lifespan is preferred.

Required Education/Experience:

• Doctoral Degree from an accredited institution.
• Training in child growth and development.
• Previous or current experience in a pediatric setting is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a desire to develop outstanding leadership skills.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to high standards of patient care and customer relations.

Required Licensure/Certification:

• Licensed Psychologist in Texas (or Provisionally Licensed)
• CPR
