The Licensure and CPE Coordinator focuses on coordinating CPE monitoring (including maintenance of data in registration system, CPE coding, data entry, electronic filing, and preparation of audits,) firm and individual licensure application & renewal, and other compliance monitoring such as AICPA and PTIN renewals. This role involves heavy client service responsibilities, understanding of CPE and licensure rules, and a strong attention to detail and quality.
The below functions reflect the general details of the essential work activities and accountabilities of this position and are not all inclusive. Other activities may be assigned.
- Coordinating CPE Monitoring: S/he is responsible for entering high volume of CPE data into the firm's compliance tracking system. Coding CPE documentation for data entry. Contacting employees for additional documentation when needed. Responding to inquiries and requests regarding CPE status. Prepare CPE audits. Set up new hires with CPE tracking and communicate requirements to them.
- Coordinating Client CPE: Working with Marketing and FMRs to ensure high volume of client-facing thought leadership is CPE compliance; issues CPE to clients/prospects.
- Coordinating License renewal: Working with Licensure & CPE Associate to renew individual CPA licenses correctly and on time.
- Compliance project management
- Analyze data & research accuracy of database information
- Communicate research findings
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 year of database management, excel & customer service
- Technical Skills: Highly proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows software and office products including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- No license or certificate required
- Ability to work independently and ask questions when necessary
