Job Description

Job Summary

A Lien Perfection Administrator receives, examines and ensures title/lien documentation is complete, accurate and in compliance with state and company guidelines. This position will work with dealerships, Department of Motor Vehicles and title agencies, as well as external and internal customers to obtain and verify information.

Essential Functions

• Follow up on and reconcile documentation until complete.
• Resolve title issues through research and interaction with auto dealerships, customers and regulatory agencies and internal partners.
• Contact external and internal customers to obtain missing or inaccurate information.
• Receive mail, internal documents and/or external documents; examine documents for completeness, accuracy, and conformity to specified requirements.
• Maintain current knowledge of DMV regulations regarding vehicle titles for each state in which vehicles are processed.
• Complete Title applications, check requests and prepare overnight shipments for lost/duplicate titles.
• Utilize various software systems to obtain, validate and enter document information.
• Responds to a variety of internal and external customer inquiries in a timely and thorough manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years auto finance experience preferred
• Auto title experience preferred
