We are looking for an experienced, Lifecycle Marketing Automation Manager to join our marketing team to drive positive outcomes for our builders. As part of the Lifecycle Marketing Team, and reporting to the Sr. Manager, Lifecycle Marketing, you will leverage Braze to build and AB test marketing automation flows to drive product cross-sell, and increase active customer engagement and retention. You will partner closely with others on the lifecycle marketing team, analytics, product marketing, and marketing ops to build and manage emails, SMS, and push notification programs to improve core KPIs. This is a highly specialized role that requires deep knowledge of CRM/User data, and marketing automation systems to build and manage automated marketing programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with others on the Lifecycle Marketing Team to develop the approach for multi-channel marketing programs across email, push notifications, and SMS to drive KPI improvement for our core product lines.
- Design and build end-to-end marketing programs in Braze marketing automation tool based on program brief and logic maps.
- Build/code push notifications, sms, and responsive email templates utilizing Brazeโs liquid templating language (an email templating program is used, but HTML and templating language knowledge is required).
- Build the campaign AB test setups, user logic flow, audience structure, and messaging personalization in Braze.
- Identify fluctuations in performance across campaigns to surface to the team and develop action plans to rightsize through a test and learn approach.
- Collaborate with design, and copy teams to ensure channel best practices are being met.
- Work with product marketing and compliance to ensure user messaging meets both marketing and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot and problem solve messaging flows, and share knowledge and expertise with others on the team.
- Focus on data/CRM management, and work with our data & marketing ops teams to enable clean, effective segmentation and communication.
- Report and communicate campaign effectiveness to key stakeholders.
What you bring:
- 3+ years experience in lifecycle marketing, primarily email and push marketing; BS or equivalent experience; MS a plus.
- 3+ years experience building complex email and push programs in marketing automation platforms (Braze is a plus, but includes Responsys, Exact Target, Urban Airship, etc.).
- Experience in A/B testing to drive KPI improvement.
- Experience building complex user segments and trigger logic.
- HTML & templating language knowledge to ensure emails render as expected.
- Ability to identify problems, determine possible solutions, and work to resolve issues collaboratively with a team.
- A high attention to detail and data driven mindset.
