Job Summary
The Lifecycle Marketing Director will be responsible for delivery of key business outcomes by developing marketing strategies, establishing measurable goals that cross-discipline teammates can clearly understand and align to, serving as an account manager to key stakeholders and creating effective, holistic marketing experiences that drive sales and build customer engagement and loyalty. This role is accountable for contributing to business strategy at both a divisional and enterprise level in a proactive manner that builds mutual trust.
Primary duties may include but are not limited to:
- Develops and executes marketing strategies with clearly defined goals, personas, journey touchpoints, tactical plan for marketing experience, tactical plan for distribution/enterprise deployment and KPIs and data analysis associated with each goal.
- Leads cross-discipline teams in the Accountable role for program and project-level work. Aligns team members, creates clarity around business needs, negotiates with stakeholders and rallies the team behind clearly defined vision and collaboration to create exceptional results.
- Writes, reviews, and evolves consumer marketing experiences and associated collateral.
- Partners effectively with stakeholders on projects and large-scale programs. Maintains open and clear communication around work initiatives to confirm direction, ensure alignment towards outcomes and analyze and respond to metrics and milestones.
- Partners with leader, teammates and colleagues in Enterprise Marketing & Communications and the business to focus on specific areas of growth within role through stretch opportunities, increased business acumen and external learning sources. Assess market landscape, trends and opportunities, and evaluate priorities within the segment to set a strategic focus for marketing campaigns and engagement opportunities.
Job Requirements
Required Education and/or Certifications
- MA/MS in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. MBA or MA appreciated but nor required.
- Leadership and strategic planning skills.
- Understanding of competitive marketplace.
Required Work Experience
- 10+ years' experience in marketing roles, preferably B2B and/or digital-focused.
- 5+ years' experience in Financial Services.
- Ability to self-organize and self-manage to achieve results in a fast-paced and information.
- Or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Salary Band: 07A
This selected candidate will be expected to work hybrid in Indianapolis, IN. The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in CA, WI, IN or ME as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
