Our Lifecycle Marketing Manager will collaborate cross functionally to build strategy for nurturing customers throughout the buyer journey, and run Marketing Operations to power the strategy. The position will report to the Vice President of Marketing.
Your impact:- The core responsibility for this person will include data-driven audience segmentation and targeting, personalized journey development and content planning, campaign creation and execution, reporting, and ongoing testing for performance optimization.
- Research, implement and execute customer segmentation leveraging tools sourcing data from industry databases, Salesforce and Zoominfo.
- Manage and scale lifecycle marketing strategies and tactics across multiple platforms including Hubspot, Outreach and Gainsght.
- Build a marketing and messaging testing roadmap that leads to increased engagement, conversion, and retention.
- Drive improvements to conversion metrics through A/B testing and funnel optimization.
- Collaborate with other marketing team members to integrate content across Lifecycle platforms.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales Development and Customer Success to drive strategy supporting KPIs.
- Track progress towards goals across platforms including MQLS, SQLs, Opps, C/W rate and retention to share results with the team.
- Possess the technical ability to integrate data and insights from disparate sources and drive operational excellence.
- BS/BA in marketing, communications, business, or related field is required
- 7+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing with email platforms at a B2B SaaS or tech company executing high performing demand programs.
- Deep understanding of email and marketing best practices
- Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with experience using various testing methodologies and technologies to meet demand generation metrics.
- Highly organized with project management skills, able to simultaneously manage multiple projects, teams, and timelines without breaking a sweat
- Technical fluency plus knowledge of digital marketing, email deliverability, data infrastructure, and analytics/reporting.
- Expertise with Marketing Automation tools (ex. Hubspot or Marketo) or equivalents and working knowledge of CRM platforms (ex. Salesforce).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills capable of identifying potential roadblocks in advance, proposing solutions; able to act on your feet and make critical decisions quickly without heavy coaching.
