It's with that in mind that Beyond is looking to add a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to our growing team. Reporting to our Senior Director of Content & Communications, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in growing our self-service audience. Are you passionate about storytelling and developing engaging content to help drive customer engagement and retention? You will be responsible for executing strategy and creating content for our self-service audience on a variety of channels, including in-app, digital ads, paid social, and more. 
 
This role is perfect for someone who is equal parts creative (develop compelling and engaging stories aligned to key themes) and strategic (deliver content to target audiences via the right channels to accelerate their product engagement). This individual will work closely with colleagues across marketing, product, design and CX to build best-in-class content programs that enable our self-service customers to more deeply engage with our brand and gain value from our product platform, in order to increase engagement and retention.

As our Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for: 

  • Conceptualizing and producing compelling content for vacation rental hosts that educates, inspires and retains Beyond’s self-service user base
  • Managing content strategies and editorial plans for growth marketing campaigns, in close collaboration with other parts of the marketing org
  • Being versed in brand standards and customer segments (needs, motivations, challenges, voice), to tailor voice and messaging for audience segments.
  • Planning and executing ongoing testing (layout, format, frequency, copy, etc.) to continuously improve performance focused on user engagement driving towards our KPIs
  • Leveraging data to prioritize initiatives, including own automated dashboards to measure and report on campaign progress and effectiveness
  • Coming up with out-of-the-box initiatives that bring a diverse perspective to make content stand out and monitor the marketplace to keep ahead on best practices
  • Defining audience-specific narratives, value propositions and service educational messaging
  • Analyzing all aspects of our user journey, leveraging insights to execute campaigns with a focus on segmentation and content personalization.

Now that we’ve told you what the job looks like, here are the qualifications we're looking for in a candidate: 

  • 3+ years experience in customer and/or lifecycle content creation, with a foundational understanding of content strategies and tactics that impact each stage of a buyer’s and user’s journey;
  • Experience driving a multi-channel approach to creating and disseminating creating engaging content; both external (PPC, social) and internal (in-app, website) channels
  • Proven ability to translate analytic data into strategic insights that drive successful marketing programs
  • Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Previous early stage startup experience preferred (i.e. Series C or earlier)
