How you'll make an impactĀ 

As a Lifecycle Marketing Manager at SonderMind, you will be responsible for developing and executing targeted campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and retention (as appropriate) for our clients. Using data and customer insights, you will create segments and workflows tailored to the specific needs of our target audiences. You will also collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams to ensure a seamless user experience throughout the customer journey.

The primary channel for this program is email, and as such, the ideal candidate must have deep experience implementing and optimizing email marketing programs, and understanding the role they play in the larger marketing strategy. We are seeking a strategic thinker that is curious, collaborative, and is energized by building functions from the ground up.

Success looks likeĀ 
  • Within one month, you will have a clear understanding of the customer journey and the marketing strategies and processes that are currently running. You will have met with key stakeholders, including cross-functional team members, managers and external partners to understand their role in influencing the lifecycle marketing program. In addition, you will have conducted an audit of the email marketing programs and will have identified opportunities for improvement and quick optimizations.
  • Within two months, you will have developed a clear plan to advance our lifecycle marketing program to the next level. This plan should outline the next 3-6 months, including new nurture tracks and programs to further engage, retain and educate our clients.
  • Within three months, you will have started the implementation of your plan and are in full swing. At this point you understand how the business operates, have built key relationships with business partners and are reporting back on impact from the lifecycle program.

What you'll doĀ 
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive lifecycle marketing strategy for potential, current and past therapy clients and providers, including newsletters and event-based email campaigns.
  • Create and execute nurture workflows targeted at different stages of the client journey, including but not limited to pre-conversion, client onboarding, and client engagement.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of lifecycle marketing campaigns, using data to make informed decisions about future activities and optimization opportunities.
  • Lead the strategy to conduct multi-variant testing on campaigns and other tactics to improve positive business outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams, such as product and engineering, to ensure alignment and seamless integration of marketing communications with product-led communications.
  • Collaborate closely with the Brand & Creative team to ensure all communications appropriately represent the SonderMind brand voice, tone and overall positioning.
  • Monitor and escalate client feedback from email campaigns to continuously improve client experience and marketing efforts.
  • Manage, coach and mentor marketing operations specialist responsible for implementing the lifecycle marketing strategy, including scheduling and sending emails, maintaining marketing automation systems, and analyzing data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as design and creative teams to develop visually appealing and creative campaigns that drive conversion.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in lifecycle marketing and incorporate them into the strategy.
Ā What you'll bring with youRequired ExperienceĀ 
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience building and leading email marketing strategies and proficiency with email marketing platforms such as Marketo, Hubspot, and SendGrid.
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience with data visualization tools such as Snowflake, Looker, Tableau or similar.
  • Experience in segmentation and personalization of campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with product and engineering teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
Preferred ExperienceĀ 
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred

Our BenefitsĀ 

The anticipated salary range for this role is $108,000- $120,000. This role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and variable bonus plan.Ā  Actual title and compensation is commensurate with qualifications and experience.Ā
