Manages Operations teammates who provide complex, specialty and core services which directly impact the enterprise and the client across the product suite offered by LightStream.
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
Duties
1.Manages a team, or teams, of specialized LightStream Operations teammates that support account management including payment processing, loan funding, refund check processing, General Ledger Reconciliation, Credit Bureau Disputes processing, and other tasks associated to managing balances or reporting of client accounts.
2. Provides day to day management of teammates KPI performance and SLA management of work.
3. Escalates system issues impacting teammate performance and works with IT partners to get issues resolved. Adjusts workflows and phones lines in support of system issues.
4. Drives coaching, development, and succession planning for all teammates within your work group.
5. Full HR responsibility with your team to include performance management, time worked reconciliation, and time off requests.
6. Responsible for development and oversight of complex processes supporting their function and ensures processes are adhered to and escalates when issues are identified and champions change when needed.
7. Manages the execution of the business plan, production and quality goals for area of responsibility.
8. Leads projects or manages systems across multiple functions.
9. Interacts with Line of Business Partners to assure seamless delivery of services with high risk to the reputation of the company.
10. Ensures effective coordination occurs between assigned areas and related areas.
Required Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work related experience.
2. 4 years of experience in financial services operations or technology operations.
3. 3 years of management and leadership experience.
4. Background in managing teams in Banking Operations or Accounting required
5. Accredited ACH Professional (AAP), Certified Management Accountant(CMA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or similar Banking Certifications a plus
6. Ability to lead team through resolving complex business situations by analyzing issues, researching problems, delivering action plans and ensuring all related parties are informed.
7. Strong collaboration, persuasion, negotiating and relationship building skills.
8. Proven ability to motivate and coach employees to take desired action.
9. Advanced knowledge of the banking industry compliance and regulatory laws.
10. Eligible to manage or perform loan origination or servicing functions under government agency guideline requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
College Degree with a focus in Business or Accounting, or 4 years management experience in a related area of bank operations, online/Fintech preferred. Experience within multiple areas of banking operations.
The annual base salary for this position is $130,000 - $160,000.
