Linux Endpoint Engineer

Stairwell is on the lookout for an Linux Endpoint Engineer with a solid foundation in endpoint agent technology and a focus on building and developing solid agent infrastructure. We seek proactive individuals who are adept in creating and guiding the development of complex systems. • Collaborate with other engineers on the team to design, develop, test, and deploy features in Stairwell’s endpoint agent in Linux.
• Build out infrastructure to test and monitor agents within a Linux environment across a variety of distributions.
• Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise.

• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong background in software development in one or more of Go, Rust, C, or C++.
• Strong background in Linux systems programming interfaces, including:
• audit
• eBPF
• Container abstractions such as Cgroups and namespaces.
• Systemd.
• Working experience with kernel drivers is a plus.
• Close familiarity with software engineering tools, software development methodology and release processes.
• Curiosity in understanding the security space and how cutting edge technologies can shape it.

Additional Information: Minimum Salary of $160,000-180,000 + equity + benefits.
