Role Value Proposition:
We are seeking an experienced Linux Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Linux environment, spanning operations, automation, engineering, and architecture. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be a cornerstone of this role.
Key Responsibilities:

• This is position requires self-initiative and drive, technical acumen to deliver on critical projects and meet commitments.
• Provide expert-level support for Linux-based systems, ensuring operational excellence and reliability.
• Collaborate with various teams to understand business requirements and contribute to the design, engineering, and architecture of Linux solutions.
• Implement and maintain configurations using YAML code for streamlined deployment and management.
• Utilize Red Hat Satellite for system management, monitoring, and automation.
• Drive automation initiatives using the Ansible Automation Platform to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement robust solutions.
• Continuous skills growth and technical learning.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Linux Engineer, with a focus on both operations and engineering.
• Proficiency in writing and maintaining YAML code for configuration management.
• Experience with Red Hat Satellite for system management and automation.
• Hands-on experience with the Ansible Automation Platform.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of Linux server architecture, security best practices, and performance optimization.

Preferred:

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCSA) or similar certifications.
• Experience with other automation and orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Openshift).
• Experience with other Red Hat technologies - GFS, HA
• Experience integrating Ansible with other infrastructure tools via API.
• Experience with Agile methodology
