Job Description: 

In this role you will be part of the team that develops the Linux kernel driver for Habana's ASICs.

You will engage with VLSI designers, User-space S/W engineers, Firmware engineers and architects in order to define and implement features for future and current ASICs.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with the Linux kernel community and upstream your code.

The ideal candidate should have Strong Linux skills and solid experience with Linux kernel and driver's knowledge and skilled in git.

Experience in programming drivers for PCIe accelerators (GPUs/Storage/Networking/etc.).

Familiar with kernel-user API best practices for accelerators.Has the ability for fast ramp-up and self-learning.

Qualifications:

BSc in Computer Science or equivalent

Strong programming skills in C 4+ year's work experience on software projects in the Linux kernel space

Prior experience with the Open-Source community, tools and behaviors

Prior contributions to open-source project are a plus

Prior Linux software development in other ingredients is a plus

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
