1WorldSync is the industry leader in product content management. With 400 employees across the US, Brazil, Canada, Portugal, France, Switzerland, and the UK, we're seeking a Linux Systems Engineer to support our growing global team.

Reporting directly to our Director, IT Infrastructure & Security, the Linux Systems Engineer will be a member of a small team of Linux Systems Engineers responsible for supporting all aspects of our enterprise commercial infrastructure in a hybrid global cloud. This person will be responsible for the administration of systems in private data centers as well as Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS cloud locations. This person will work closely with 1Worldsync Engineering, and Application Administration teams to ensure the functionality of internally and externally facing applications. This person will have an ability to manage projects from start to finish with minimal guidance.

As Linux Systems Engineer at 1WorldSync, responsibilities include the following:

• Linux Administration & Support
• Installation, configuration, and support of the OS and related OS software (e.g. RHEL, CentOS)
• Installation, configuration, and support of server hardware (HP DL 300 Series)
• Installation, configuration, and support of Cloud platform based systems
• Linux end user support, systems security, and application issue support
• Web servers, load balancing, and proxy servers
• Support and resolve network connectivity issues
• Open source monitoring and intrusion detection solutions
• Use of virtualization and container technology
• Package, configuration and container management
• SAN Administration
• Participate in research, analysis and implementation of new technical solutions
• 24/7 On-Call Schedule Rotation Responsibilities
• Participate in multi stage projects working with technology groups
• Develop appropriate solutions to stay current with technology advances
• Maintain proper documentation for all systems, processes and procedures
• Follow security processes for the operations and administration of systems
• Participate in security projects and aid in developing improved security practices

Software: RHEL, CentOS, Kubernetes, Rancher, Ansible, Load Balancer solutions, Apache, Nginx, VMWare, Red Hat Satellite, Check_MK, PagerDuty, Grafana, Oracle, Postgres, OpenSSL, Postfix, DUO, multiple open source software

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree and experience
• 4+ years of experience in Linux administration

• Manage multiple priorities and deliver to project timelines
