Job Description

As the Linux/Unix architect, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and security of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AIX, Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Solaris. This role involves the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our IT systems, along with implementing security best practices and providing technical support. Success in this position requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, effective communication, and a proactive approach to infrastructure management and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience designing and operating large scale compute infrastructure.
• Strong experience with AIX, RHEL, Ubuntu required.
  • Solaris and AS400 experience a plus.
• Experience with automation of IT processes
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and implementation of Linux-based infrastructure solutions.
• Understanding of fast distributed and network attached storage solutions and Linux file systems.
• Experience in support of virtualized environments (VMware)
