Linux/Windows Systems Administrator

Amentum is currently seeking a Linux/Windows Systems Administrator to support an IT Managed Services program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems.

You will be a part of a team that supports Windows and Linux server and desktops for a National Labs customer. This role may include occasional travel.

As a member of the team, you will:

• Support Linux and Windows desktops and servers for a large organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have a Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience OR an Associates degree and 5 years of experience OR a High School degree and 8 years of experience.
• Must have an active TOP SECRET or DOE Q clearance.
• Windows system administration experience for at least 2 years.
• Linux system administration experience for at least 2 years.

  - Network Configuration

   

  - Application Hosting
• Experience with Data Storage Systems (such as NetApp) and associated technologies: SAN, NAS, RAID, LUNs, Snapshots, Replication, etc.,
• Familiarity with Firewall technology & management of private LANs/networks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior working experience with National Labs infrastructure.
• Experience with quality assurance testing.
• Experience in Virtual/Cloud Deployments.
• Developing scripts for automating services tasks.
• Server room management (e.g. - power, cooling, cabling, racking).
