We are seeking a dedicated Video on Demand (VOD) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Milford Center, OH. This role is integral to monitoring and maintaining the VOD Service Desk operations while ensuring adherence to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee team operations by assigning tasks and managing work/cases effectively.
• Maintain meticulous oversight of multiple case tickets, ensuring attention to detail.
• Conduct quality analyses of team performance and completed tasks.
• Identify and implement workflow enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Provide constructive feedback, coaching, and improvement plans tailored to team members.

Knowledge & SkillsVOD Industry Expertise

• Familiarity with metadata standards such as CableLabs and MovieLabs.
• Proficient knowledge of video/audio codecs and container formats.

Pipeline and Troubleshooting

• In-depth understanding of the VOD delivery and processing pipeline.
• Strong troubleshooting expertise for VOD assets, including video/audio issues, encoding, and streaming errors.
• Advanced analytical skills for root cause identification and adherence to established resolution protocols.

Technical Tools & Formats

• Experience working with content management systems and data analysis tools (e.g., dashboards, Excel).
• Proficiency in IBM Aspera for file transfers.
• Ability to work with text-based data formats such as XML and JSON, with the ability to decode and interpret files.

$60,000–$80,000 per year
