Loan Operations Analyst Jr

The Loan Operations Analyst Junior supports the analysis and maintenance of all loan data within the Specialty & Lender Finance loan portfolio. When loan data discrepancies are discovered, this job assists in investigating, identifying and resolving the issue. Working under direct supervision, this job helps ensure that the client is satisfied, operations are running efficiently, data is accurate and work is processed according to a timeline.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Verifies loan contract data and enters information into loan management database.
• Processes interest and commitment fees.
• Assists in the investigation of discrepancies to ensure the efficient and profitable operation of loan business activities.
• Processes all aspects of new deal closings, restructures, and amendments to ensure the quality and accuracy of loan data.
• Records new borrowings, increases, rollovers, pay downs, and commitment reductions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Performs accounting system (Stucky ABLM.Net, Product of IDS) daily & monthly closes for portfolio activities, balancing bank to general ledger
• Maintains the organization's hardcopy of documentation in commercial loan files.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work experience in the field of finance or accounting
• Prior accounts receivable and/or accounts payable experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
• Experience with a loan accounting process system (ex. Stucky ABLM.Net, product of IDS)
• Ability to work with little supervision in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, detail-oriented team player
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

Potential Salary: $56,200.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
