Summary:
Process, issue and close out state-authorized agencies locate tickets (aka; Call Before You Dig, 811 call centers, Miss Utilities, etc).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- The ability to work with construction personnel, Technical Operations personnel and locate contractors to coordinate all Locate tickets.
- The ability to learn and use new computer programs to complete daily work and the ability to read digital mapping software. Self-motivated and a self-starter.
- Position requires attention to detail.
- Compile and track information for reporting purposes.
- Assure that all standards for quality and safety are met.
- Coordinate that all locate tickets are processed properly and efficiently.
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to complete basic math.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of
concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: Google Maps, Google Office Suite, Microsoft Office, Smartsheets, Korterra, and digital mapping software. Utilizing Chrome add-ons such as Link Clump and Tab Counter.
Read system design maps.
Coordinate state-authorized agency tickets daily, efficiently, and quickly so that will not impede the locating process.
Learn the state-authorized agency in each area where work is performed. Areas may include but are not limited to; ME, NH, CT, DE, VA, MD, PA, NY, WV, OH, FL, SC, and MA.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record within company-required standards.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent
