Lock Desk Specialist - Mortgage Job

Responsibilities

• Process rate lock requests, changes, relocks and extensions
• Communicate changes to production staff
• Monitor expiring locks and communicate options to production staff
• Data entry of sell side commitments
• Update pricing and pricing model.
• Update hedge firm on changes to position, i.e., new locks, extensions, loan sales, status changes
• Monitor investor due dates
• Generate reports as needed

Requirements

• Previous Lock Desk experience preferred.
• Mortgage experience of some sort required
• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Accuracy and attention to details
• Team player with a customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, etc)

This position typically pays $23-26 an hour.
