Locksmith/Carpenter

PURPOSE OF THE LOCKSMITH POSITION: This position would be responsible in providing vital support for TVCS lock and key operations, Security, TVCS personnel, production companies as well as perform assigned carpentry requests as directed. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Locksmith certification/License - Journeyman level experience PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES of LOCKSMITH: Services and maintains lock & key operations for Facilities Operations. Coordinates and maintains key requests for offices, furniture and access controls for TVC personnel, production companies, and Security. Performs journeyman carpentry inside and outside of TVC Facility, including construction projects. Constructs and installs cabinetry, tables (various types/styles), benches, bookcases, shelves, plywood walls, paneling, and shipping crates. Maintenance and Repair of automatic doors and hardware, where required. • Services and maintains lock & keys operations for Facilities Operations. • Coordinates and maintains key requests for offices and furniture from personnel and production companies. • Performs journeyman carpentry inside and outside of TVCS Facility, including construction projects. • Constructs and installs cabinetry, tables (various types/styles), benches, bookcases, shelves, plywood walls, paneling and shipping crates. REPORTING STRUCTURE: Reports to: Foreman/Lead of the Carpenter Shop, Manager of Construction & Maintenance and VP of Facilities. KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS: • Lock & Key • Door Maintenance. • Knowledge of Ving Card Systems, Card Readers, Electronic Locks Mechanical & Electrical experience a plus EQUIPMENT UTILIZED: • Key machine. • Electric drills, picks. • VIN card systems, card readers.
