Logistic Associate
2nd Shift
Location: US - Memphis/Appling
Job Summary:
This role will be responsible the for the picking of Recon and Trauma sets for surgery vital for revenue growth. The primary objective will be to ensure all sets are picked and shipped in a timely manner to ensure customer needs are meet. All duties are performed in compliance with GMP/GTP, American Association of Tissue Banks Standards, and Smith and Nephew Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The candidate should have a dedication to high standards of quality and attention to detail.
Responsibilities/Job Duties -
- Prepare orders by processing requests, placing orders in set build area for assembly. -
- Process paperwork and confirm for all material as required. -
- Perform and assist in performing physical inventories as required. -
- Communicate effectively with management of any inventory or equipment issues. -
- Assist as directed with special projects designed to improve the distribution processes. -
- Other duties as assigned by operations management.

- Ability to interact professionally at multiple levels. -
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. -
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload. -
- Flexibility and ability to adjust to changing priorities and unforeseen events; excellent time management skills. -
- Able to handle high pressure situations and constructively resolve potential conflicts.
Education and Training/Certification Required: -
- High School diploma or equivalent. - 0 - 1 years within a logistics environment
- Preferred: - Associates degree. - 1+ years within a logistics environment -
- Experienced in SAP Related Work Experience
- - Strong planning and organizational skill. -
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment. -
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. -
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Overtime may be required at times.
Work Environment / Travel Requirements -
- Office Environment - Logistics Environment -
- No Travel Required
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.
