Strategy Consulting Team (SCT) is seeking an experienced Logistics Analyst to provide direct support to our client. The Logistics Analyst performs a variety of cross-functional activities, including supporting inventory management, Continuity of Operations duties, onboarding and offboarding of personnel, conference management, customer service, process improvement, and developing high-quality presentations and reports. The role involves performing logistics activities as described, reviewing, improving, and streamlining processes based on best practices from internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, the Logistics Analyst utilizes management principles and techniques to contribute to the long-range planning of programs and objectives. The position requires strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to employ fact-finding and investigative techniques, and a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with multiple offices to facilitate logistics support for office space allocation, construction initiatives, security measures, and IT assistance.
  • Collaborate within the team and other stakeholders such as moving services, IT, Facilities, administrative assistants, and more to coordinate distribution of resources and materials for over 200 employees/customers in the Washington DC area.
  • Provide customer service in fulfilling equipment, facilities, and move requests. Maintain communication throughout the process of fulfilling requests.
  • Manage all equipment and support requests, including, but not limited to, computer equipment requests, access requests, office furniture and supplies requests, and move requests.
  • Efficiently oversee and monitor assigned requests, effectively prioritizing tasks and coordinating with support staff as necessary.
  • Support data analysis of the Federal Employee Viewpoint Survey (FEVS), facility management metrics, and human resource metrics.
  • Assist in Conference Management by meticulously tracking the attendance of federal employees during conferences and providing registration support.
  • Support the Continuity of Operations Program Coordinator efforts and be a liaison between affected offices.
  • Support coordinating and implementing the continuity plan and distribution of continuity-related materials.
  • Supports the client in optimizing and managing SharePoint.
  • In support of inventory management, support documentation of process flows and design and implementation of streamlined process to request and manage inventory via SharePoint forms. Manage and track equipment and supplies for employees.
  • Provide senior leadership with concise updates regarding employee-related matters, potential risks, and pertinent information.
  • Develop reports as required by leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to recognize, evaluate, and analyze customer support problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Applications (i.e. Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.) and experience with business IT systems.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Ability to interact professionally with clients, including senior executives.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Will work onsite at client office location with occasional remote / telework available.
  • May include occasional travel.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance. Existing top secret or Q clearance strongly preferred. Drug test required.
