Logistics Coordinator/Cable Connector
Gulf Copper Energy Services is currently seeking a logistics coordinator/cable connector for our Galveston office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for the following: Other duties may be assigned.
- Acquiring POs from Purchasing
- Occasionally opening job #’s if Supervision Needs Assistance
- Maintain Job files and quotes for Job files.
- Maintain a healthy and active communication with production, & shipping/receiving.
-  Input information provided by Manager’s and Superintendents on bidding program.
- Â Heavy logistical support (Pricing Equipment etc.)
- Attend weekly meetings.
- Work closely with accounting regarding equipment billing/discrepancies/etc.
- Maintain a close relationship with Purchasing.
- Organize equipment staging and setup for mobilization and demobilization of on and offsite projects.
- Complete and document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste.
- Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products, recording quality results.
- Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurements tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Assist in Time Keeping
- Assist in Bill Presentation to Clients
- Assist in Day-to-Day Operations as Needed
- Responsible for Cable Connector administration duties including customer communications, electronic entries, and records.
- Responsible for Cable Connector Kit procurement, assembly, and shipping.
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Accounting, Purchasing, Engineering, or Logistics, or five (5) plus years experience within purchasing field preferred.
Working Conditions:
- Regular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humid and / or rainy weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
- Lifting (50lbs) involved.
Necessary Equipment Operation:
- Office equipment, including telephone, fax machine, scanner, computer, printer, ten-key.
- General inspection measuring of equipment.

- Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand codes/specifications, sketches, and technical manuals.
