Logistics Engineer II

If you are adept at understanding and translating technical ideas and enjoy collaborating with multiple teams, we may have the perfect role for you! As a Logistics Engineer II, you'll perform analysis of test, engineering design, safety, manufacturing process, reliability and maintainability to identify and document maintenance and support requirements and reference basic logistics modeling techniques to predict maintenance levels and costs. You'll also review engineering requirements, utilize recommended tool and test equipment and calibration requirements and assist in the review of maintenance engineering and logistics support for engineering projects.

Must-haves:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related Engineering discipline and typically 3 or more years of relevant experience
• Higher-level degree may substitute for relevant experience
• Basic understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Analytical skills
• Experience working in multi-disciplinary design & development teams

Preferred:

• Understanding of Military Specifications and Standards
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, US Department of Defense and/or US Military

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $68,926.06 - $94,773.33. Sierra Space considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
