Job Description

Are you ready to be part of a dynamic and rapidly growing business? Abcam is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic team player to join our Logistics Team as an Inbound Manager. Responsibilities:

• Monitor and troubleshoot the flow of OEM product production, escalating issues as needed.
• Develop and implement scalable processes for In-House Protein and Biochemical aliquoting.
• Collaborate with OpEx to identify and address bottlenecks and waste in logistics processes.
• Lead daily stand-up meetings, providing reports on planned production, actual productivity, and capacity.
• Identify and implement automation solutions to improve throughput and eliminate manual processes.
• Manage and resolve PO issues and discrepancies with Supply Chain, Logistics staff, and suppliers.
• Ensure SOPs are updated, and staff adhere to quality and company procedures.
• Act on requests from Customer Mission Operations and Sales to support relationships with Strategic Accounts.
• Work closely with the Supply Chain team to maximize productivity, managing OEM demand and assessing resource capacity.

Qualifications

You will enjoy adapting to a changing environment and have a high attention to detail. You will be able to work effectively in a diverse team towards a common goal. Your organizational and time management skills would have been gained in a fast-paced environment such as retail, hospitality, customer service, warehouse, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing.

You must be able to lift 50lbs (not very often) and this role will involve standing for 60-90% of the time. You must be a confident and effective communicator with both your colleagues and managers. You will have the ability and drive to meet deadlines. You must be educated to high school/GED level. 

The job could also require short periods in a freezer environment, insulated clothing will be provided. You will also be expected to be computer sufficient including Microsoft Office.
