The Logistics Lead manages the activities within the Logistics and Warehousing function, to include but not limited to - order handling, customs requirements, stock control and onward distribution. Implementing methodologies to streamline processes which will drive value for the business.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing and implementing projects, governance and continuous improvement opportunities in Logistics, through a solid understanding of the environment and working alongside stakeholders within SCM, the business and external partners.
• Uses judgement based on functional knowledge of inventory and is expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience, including: Use of methodologies to avoid over ordering / overstocking items in local markets and optimizing inventory availability at lowest cost;
• Manage tactical and operational planning ensuring that supply chain plans are fully integrated with business strategies
• Manages 3rd party Logistics operations and responsible to deliver highest service levels
• Supports overall governance of Logistics through helping to shape standards and rules.

Qualificações

• A university degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering is essential. 
• At least 8 years of applicable work experience in Logistics operations management (warehousing, inbound, outbound, distribution, reverse logistics operations etc.).
• Excellence in internal and external stakeholder management and business partnering.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, adept at prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
