The RoleÂ
The Logistics Optimization Manager will build and optimize programs for receiving and shipping operations across Green Thumb's manufacturing sites. This includes programs and systems used for scheduling and tracking of incoming shipment loads and outbound product delivery appointments, inventory traceability and discrepancy tracking. Â

ResponsibilitiesÂ
Â
- Evaluate and optimize existing systems used for scheduling, tracking, and distribution of incoming raw materials and packaging and all outbound product deliveries Â
- Work closely with site Fulfillment and Sales Departments to understand site barriers and essential optimization projectsÂ
- Ensure company new logistics teams operate in compliance with all Federal, State, Local and company regulations/policies and proceduresÂ
- Create set of standard logistics KPI and dashboardÂ
- Work with Supply Chain team to monitor and maintain proper inventory levels on finished units and raw materials by evaluating usage and communicating with site team on a regular basis Â
- Work with Local and Corporate Finance team on optimizing physical inventory processÂ
- Partner with regional Maintenance team to audit fleet maintenance for all Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and Delivery VehiclesÂ
- Partner with Procurement and construction to develop strategic partnership for warehouse storage Â
- Evaluate 3rd party off site storage centers and support procurement with contracts Â
- Partner with manufacturing team for site expansions and new product additions to work through in facility logistics and storage requirements Â
- Produce justification through cost analysis for new programs, equipment and resource improvementsÂ
- Assist in centralizing logistics functions in ERP system Â
- Evaluate and validate technologies that enable efficiencies in warehouse and order fulfilment Â
- Create centralized database for regional vehicle fleet that is supporting various customer and company locations.  Â
- Create centralized database for maintaining compliance with both DOT rules and dispensary specific rules based on region, with support from the local logistics teamÂ
- Performs other duties as assignedÂ
Â
Minimum QualificationsÂ
- Associate's Degree or certificate from college or technical school desired, Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field preferredÂ
- 6+ years of Logistics, operations or finance experience Â
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and guidelinesÂ
- Knowledgeable of Lean Manufacturing principles and processes (5S, TPM, etc.)Â
- Exceptional computer skills in Microsoft® Office Suite (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Word). Basic ERP experience is a plusÂ
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.Â
- Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skillsÂ
- Able to train and motivate department personnel and supervise department personnel in a fair and consistent mannerÂ
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends, or other shifts when requiredÂ
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Â
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondenceÂ
- Ability to speak effectively before senior leadership, collaborate effectively with site leaders ship and gain alignment with cross-functional groups. Â
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization existsÂ
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and problem solve effectivelyÂ
- Operate with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential informationÂ
- Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindsetÂ
- Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion to further theirÂ
understanding and knowledge of the industry and the lawsÂ

- Must pass any and all required background checks Â
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry Â
- Must possess valid driver’s licenseÂ
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of ageÂ
- Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industryÂ
