Loss Mitigation Repossession Specialist (Hybrid)

We are currently looking for a Loss Mitigation Repossession Specialist to review past due accounts to determine if a repossession assignment is warranted. This position is located at our Servicing Center in Irving, Texas. This is a tremendous opportunity to partner with us to build a best-in-class servicing organization for our growing portfolio of Powersports loans.

Specifically, you will:

• Assign accounts for repossession via repo vender which includes conducting a DMDC, Idicore, Clear, or Lexis Nexis search to verify address, and ensure certain sufficient contact attempts have been completed by collector
• Assign accounts for field call assignments which are not cost effective to repossess
• Request cure letters for states that mandate prior to assigning for repossession
• Follow repo vendors for updates on all assignments every seven days
• Follow repo vendors for additional information needed if address provided is not valid
• Handling of impound notices including the creation of documents needed to secure the vehicle
• Document repossession specifics in LoanPro 

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED required (some college coursework a plus) followed by preferably two years of collections and or servicing experience, ideally in auto finance or an installment loan portfolio
• Able to work a flexible schedule which may include some overtime, some nights, weekends, and holidays at time and a half pay; Honest with strong work ethic, unscheduled absences are rare, always punctual
• Basic understanding of finance/lending; Lease servicing experience a plus
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel
• Able to master use of web-based system of record (LoanPro) and available skip tools (training provided)
• Energetic, flexible, empathetic, with a positive attitude, with the ability to work well under pressure to meet daily and monthly goals
• Strong communication and negotiation skills along with excellent "people" skills and a strong customer service attitude
• Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills; Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
• Notary a plus
