MEMIC is seeking a highly motivated individual to support our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) implementation for the automation of business processes to improve operational efficiencies. The RPA Developer will:
- Have some experience already with RPA tools
- Be a key player in implementing our RPA technology and strategy
- Leverage both their business process and information technology background to analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities
- Design solutions to automate business processes across various functions using various system integrations, APIs, or other interfaces to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Implement the technical framework to support execution of controls, compliance, deployment, and maintenance of the RPA processes
- Have experience in the insurance industry and worker’s comp specifically would be a plus
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess requirements for solution based on business needs.
- Develop solutions using a low code application platform, an RPA suite of technologies such as the Microsoft Power Platform, and other technologies such as SharePoint.
- Apply technical expertise with SQL, API integration, scripting, or programming as part of solution development.
- Create and maintain design documentation.
- Apply technical knowledge and experience to provide effort estimations.
- Develop deep knowledge of the LCAP RPA platform, environments and infrastructure.
- Develop deep knowledge of the various customer systems supported to design and develop appropriate solutions.
- Employ open, frequent, and proactive communications and driven to learn and explore.
- Complete assigned tasks on or before due date.
- Provide guidance to team members as they develop skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with a background in Computer Science, Business or related with 2+ years related experience OR acceptable combined technical and business experience required.
- Intuitive about how an idea can be turned to an actual working application with good UX Design.
- Experience or education in web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell, or any OOP language.
- Understanding of APIs and software integration.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling and design.
- Experience with SQL and ability to create complex SQL queries.
- Logic flow analysis and strong debugging skills required.
- Experience working on an Agile team with a solid grasp of the SDLC.
- Experience automating in the Insurance industry or with any LCAP is a plus.
