Team info:
The facilities team is part of the overall Operations organization at Neuralink responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of all buildings/facilities throughout the company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform basic low voltage electrical, controls, and/or data communications installations
- Work with external vendors on more complex installations in conjunction with on-staff engineers
- Troubleshoot existing low voltage installations
Key qualifications:
- Experience with structured cabling installation
- Experience with low voltage power, control, and data systems
- Willingness to work in a fast paced environment on a variety of different installation types
- Experience with at least one of the following technologies:
- Ethernet TCP/IP networks
- EIA-485 based networks (e.g. BACNet MS/TP, Modbus, etc)
- Knowledge of basic electrical fundamentals in industrial control. e.g. dry contacts, 4-20 mA loops, relay logic
- Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, Β and lift objects up to 35 lbs
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with Access Control software
- Experience with Building Controls programming and/or graphics
- Experience with single-mode or multi-mode fiber optic installations
- Ability to travel between multiple national sites (<30%)
