Luxury High-End Retail Security Officer UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER Location:Oakbrook, IL Schedule:Monday-Thursday 10am-8pm. Friday & Saturday 10am-9pm. Sunday 11am-6pm. Pay:$20.00 per hour Do you hold a current PERC certification and take pride in your professionalism? We’re looking for a reliable and observant Unarmed Security Officer to join our Chicago-based team. This role offers consistent weekday and weekend hours, a supportive environment, and the opportunity to protect and serve in a highly visible position. What You’ll Do: • Patrol assigned interior/exterior areas by foot, vehicle, or bike • Monitor surroundings and report suspicious activity • Respond quickly to incidents in line with company policy and use-of-force guidelines • Write detailed reports and maintain daily activity logs (DARs) • Enforce site policies, post orders, and client rules • Support customer service needs at front desks, loading docks, or other key locations • Stay informed on site-specific emergency protocols What You Need: • Active IL PERC card • Current IL Unarmed Security Training Certificate (20-hour training) • At least 1–3 years of experience in security (luxury/high-end retail), law enforcement, military, or customer service preferred • High school diploma or equivalent • Strong written communication for report writing • Reliable transportation to and from the site • Ability to pass a background check Bonus If You Have: • Luxury or High-End Retail security experience • Military background or relevant college education • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if required for the post) • Ability to pass a drug test (if required for the site) #IND1
