What you will do:
As our Associate Manager, Compliance & Privacy Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Integration you will be responsible for the effective planning and timely completion of projects and responsibilities related to the integration of acquired entities into Stryker's Compliance & Privacy programs to support an ethical culture and ensure business practices align with Stryker's values. You will support the broader Compliance & Privacy organization as a subject matter expert on the integration phase of the mergers and acquisitions process, as well as an integral team member for business development projects. This role will frequently work heavily with global colleagues so while this is a remote role, you will need to be able to work in EST.
Additionally you will:
- Be responsible for developing strong relationships throughout area of responsibility to foster an advisory or collaborative approach to proactive compliance and privacy.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables and plan, track, and report on timelines and milestones of global Compliance & Privacy M&A integration projects. Proactively manage changes to scope or plan.
- Work in collaboration with global M&A integration teams and external advisors to plan, execute and finalize Compliance & Privacy M&A integrations in compliance with strict deadlines, quality standards and within budget.
- Coordinate with division and regional teams regarding training, identification of high-risk interactions, remediation activities, and other local needs.
- Partner with Compliance & Privacy team and other stakeholders to develop and maintain processes and tools to be used globally for the integration of acquired businesses into the Stryker Compliance & Privacy program.
- Make recommendations to Compliance & Privacy leadership regarding the development or revision of existing policies, procedures, systems and processes.
- Consistently analyze processes, track best practices, and provide recommendations and insight to increase efficiency and effectiveness of global Compliance & Privacy M&A integration projects.
- Develop and present relevant metrics for internal and external audiences, including business leadership, to understand progress and status of the M&A integration projects.
- Represent Compliance & Privacy department within the Business Development function, including raising awareness of the compliance & privacy program and promote accountability for ethics and integrity.
- Maintain working knowledge of current and emerging laws and regulations, and periodically reviews and updates standards relating to compliance. These include but are not limited to our Corporate Policies and Procedures, industry trends and guidance on country, state/provincial or local laws.
- Participate in other Compliance & Privacy department activities as needed.
What you need:
- B.A. or B.S. from accredited university is required for a successful candidate.
- 6+ years of experience working in relevant field; 4+ years working in a highly-regulated industry such as Medical Device, Finance or Pharmaceuticals highly preferred.
- Experience withing Healthcare Compliance, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Regulatory/Quality or Operations preferred
- Prior project management experience required.
- Project management certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experiencing leading process-oriented or technical project implementation
- Demonstrated experiencing management multiple regional and/or global projects through an entire project lifecycle
- Ability to multi-task, manage the time of self, program & project team to navigate competing priorities & stakeholders
- Ability to partner, influence & work with all levels of the organization
- Well-developed ability to show discretion & maintain confidentiality
- Advanced written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills
- $85,500- $199,000salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
