Responsibilities

This position is responsible for developing and documenting automation solutions, primarily but not limited to, Power Automate and Power Apps on MSFT Power Platform, Smartsheet, Alteryx, while following best practices to drive business value. This position facilitates delivery of solutions to business problems through professional development or citizen development teams. The individual should have a deep passion for innovation. This position participates in governance and maintenance of M365 technology stack and Power Platform.

  • Build, test and deploy low code and no-code M365 business solutions that meet the needs of internal clients and citizen developers. Create and maintain solution documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Follow secure practices to ensure applications are free of common vulnerabilities. Work with clients and citizen developers on refining needs, communicating status, and demoing solutions
  • Work within project planning team identifying constraints, communicating project risks and issues accordingly, and provide inputs to the change control process.
  • Provide knowledge and insight toward overall maintenance and projects related to M365 stack and Power Platform.
  • Support deployment of developed power platform solutions. Train power users and enable user adoption of M365 services and apps.
  • Research new technologies and applications that can improve the quality, performance, or functionality of M365 platform solutions used firm wide.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related field required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of one to three (1-3) years of experience in the development of solutions within Microsoft 365 Power Platform and/or automation related tools; such as, Power Automate, Power Apps, PowerShell, MS Forms, Smartsheets, Alteryx.
  • Experience with the overall Microsoft 365 Platform, including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Outlook and the Office Suite is preferred.
  • An understanding of workflow-based logic and the ability to both understand a business process from a workflow diagram and to conceptualize it as an automated solution is required.
  • Experience in business analysis, scoping business requirements, identifying scope change and system impacts (including external systems) is preferred.
  • Experience developing automation solutions with artificial intelligence toolsets is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills, required.
  • Effective time management with focus on prioritization. A sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects. Attention to detail along with a commitment to quality and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently with technical competence.
  • The ability to prioritize, be attentive to details, maintain confidentiality, and provide exceptional client service is required.
