M365 Unified Communication Specialist - Hitachi Energy Core and Collaboration

In Core & Collaboration, we provide our business and ensure the delivery of Microsoft collaboration services to deliver a top of the class experience across the Microsoft 365 services. In Core & Collaboration we collaborate across all the other IT Functions and in a multi-stakeholder partnership to ensure the demand assessment, the service roadmap and continuous enhancement are met. Major Core & collaboration online services in scope are, but not limited to, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint & OneDrive, Outlook, PowerApps & PowerAutomate, Microsoft Teams telephony, meeting rooms and conferencing including the overall voice & video capabilities. In collaboration with other departments, the job holder will review observations mainly from the security, network, end-user computing and digital adoption teams.

• Service operation and evolution: The Unified Communications (UC) specialist engineer will work in Core & Collaboration MS Teams services and supports the operation, monitoring and setup for all voice and video services related to MS Teams telephony, collaboration systems, video conferencing & meeting room devices with the goal of improving the end user experience (UX) and productivity. The Unified Communications (UC) specialist requires network infrastructure knowledge and understanding of supporting a globally managed service deployed on a large scale.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Builds relationships with business teams within the organization to support and assess the business needs.

• Bachelor's/ Master's degree in information technology or related field.
• 2-3 years' experience in information technology.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 especially in the following areas: Microsoft Teams voice and video services o Meeting Room devices and MS Teams Telephony deployment and setup.
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Voice Engineer Expert(MS-721) or equivalent Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer.
• A plus is the good/experienced skills about SharePoint & SharePoint online architecture & infrastructure.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
