The Merger & Acquisitions Program Manager (PM) supports the architectural designs and will drive the execution of the M&A COE for the team. The PM values simplicity, diversity of thought and is unafraid to challenge constraints and standard procedures to achieve the desired Agile design in partnership with additional subject matter experts. The PM is accountable for managing all aspects of the COE Design, collaborating with their Technical Leader in an effort to create a modular, scalable solution that addresses/incorporates future M&A activities. The PM will be hands in working with the M&A Team and Technical Leader to solve complex problems and removes roadblocks for the team to be successful.
In this role you will:
- In partnership with technical subject matter experts, lead efforts to define an M&A COE
- Guide project team members on best practices for M&A
- Constantly look for better ways of solving problems and designing the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quo
- Leads the development of the overall approach for the M&A COE
- Partners with the Technical Leader, other PMs and executive sponsors to communicate program goals, objectives and potential outcomes.
- Leads regular interactions with the executive sponsor to inform, alert, negotiate and maintain a continuing good relationship and shared vision for the program outcome.
- Establishes and ensures appropriate governance functions for the program, in accordance with enterprise policies and practices, on behalf of the executive sponsor or senior responsible owner.
- Directs the creation and maintenance of the required program documentation and artifacts
- Leads the development and maintenance of stakeholder mapping, communications, and reporting.
- Acts as an advisor and builds and maintains relationships across the wider stakeholder community.
- Oversees the execution of program projects, their progress compared with the plan and the production of agreed deliverables.
- Monitors and coordinates dependencies across the projects in the program and resolves conflicts.
- Directs or approves the establishment of a framework or guidelines for the use of contractors and professional service providers and determines their use across the program.
- Supports and facilitates agenda setting for program status meetings
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years leadership experience
- Bachelor or Masters in CS, MIS, Software Engineering or equivalent engineering/technical degree
- Seen as an expert within M&A space
- Familiar with production Cloud/DevOps environments
- Experience in Agile Development, with specific Solution Architect (or similar) experience preferred
- Experience managing priorities within the Backlog
- Experience managing the overall delivery through the aligned teams
- Strong analytical skills: ability to distill information from disparate data sources and the capability to tell the story behind it, as well as recommendations for next steps.
- On-hands management of one or more Acquisitions Integrations throughout the life of the integration
- Ability to adapt quickly to modern technologies and changing business requirements
- Seek out and embrace relevant perspectives when assessing a situation or deciding; demonstrate clear understanding of multiple viewpoints.
- High energy and enthusiastic individual who inspires teammates to reach their maximum potential
