Job Description
Amentum is currently seeking a Mac Tech Lead to support an IT Managed Services program in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The overall program includes a 500+ work force performing Enterprise IT support, Service Desk, and Telecommunications support across multiple facilities and locations, for classified and unclassified telecommunications and information technology (IT) systems.
You will be a part of a team that applies technical and operational knowledge under minimal direction, to configure, operate, and maintain information processing and telecommunications systems.
As a member of the team, you will:
- Resolve more complex issues escalated from the Tier I and Tier II Service Desk and End User technicians.
- Facilitate advanced desk side and helpdesk support response to maintain performance requirements for answering customer questions and concerns.
- Appropriately document all required information into the call tracking system and the knowledge base within specified performance requirements.
- Ensure the Mac Team meets required productivity expectations, including Service Desk and End User metrics.
- Coordinate with fellow Lead Technicians and Managers on possible issues that are trending within the various support groups.
- Collaborate with the Macintosh Technical Development group on changes in the environment, testing, and infrastructure problems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree and 3 years of experience, or High School Diploma / GED and 6 years of experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a TOP SECRET (TS) or DOE Q Clearance.
- Experience in Mac system administration & troubleshooting, including virtual machines.
- Advanced desk side support & troubleshooting skills for Mac, and Windows virtual machine applications (includes classified & unclassified support).
- Experience with Service Management tools tracking, updating & completing service requests and incident reports in a ticket tracking system designated by our client.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over years of experience supporting Mac and Windows, software, and hardware in a heterogeneous, networked computing environment.
- Experience testing, verifying, and documenting changes to computer system equipment.
- IT Certifications (Apple Certs, CompTIA Certs, etc.).
- Experience managing devices with JAMF Management Solution.
